Eyes of the Wild – My first published work!
Sunday, July 15th, 2018
So, I finally have my first real published work available for sale: Eyes of the Wild!
It’s a short fantasy story I wrote earlier this year, and the cool people at PageHabit were nice enough to publish it!
It was an interesting working with a real publisher. I’m pretty used to just dropping my content straight from my mind, to the page, to the site with no real filtering. It was definitely an adjustment working with an editor and having to make compromises and changes to my work. Still, I really enjoyed the experience, and I hope to get more fiction published in the future. Hopefully some of you guys are interested in that too.
I get a small percentage of royalties on every sale, so I’d appreciate anyone who buys a digital copy from the PageHabit site. And hey, it’s only $0.99!
Here’s the official synopsis:
Eleya had always believed that the winged god Agolu watched over her clan of Cliff People, and that she was blessed for being born with eyes as golden as his. But when Agolu betrays the people he once protected, Eleya must confront her god to discover the truth behind the clan’s history—and her eyes.
