Some of you might've already seen this if you've been lurking around certain image boards in the past week, but I'd like to introduce the rest of you to a little side project I've been working (procrastinating) on: an edit/parody of Marvel's most recent comic book event, Avengers vs X-Men. I call it, "Muh Phoenix."

If you've ever read MightGodKing's Civil War parody, "I Don't Need Your Civil War", it's very similar to that. In fact it was his edit that inspired me to take on this project. I realized nobody was putting out edits/parodies like this anymore, and felt obliged to fill the niche. I can't promise it's up to the same quality as his parody, but the few people I've showed it to so far seem to have enjoyed it.

Anyway, I've only gotten issue one edited so far, but more should be coming soon. I'm not sure where exactly I'm going to keep this on the site. I think I'd like to reserve the front page selectable protagonists for more wholely original works, so for now I'm keeping this in a blog post. I've got a few ideas as to what I'm going to do with it though, so hopefully soon it will be a bit more organized. Also, as a warning, it may be slightly more offensive than my usual stuff, though not by much.
